About Us
During your time of mourning, we at Saunders Cemetery are here to serve your burial needs with dignity and respect. Established in 1863 during the middle of the Civil war and has a tradition of honoring our U.S. military veterans and public servants. Saunders Cemetery is home to many area notables, including veterans, law enforcement, mayors, and farmers. The cemetery is located due east of Daleville, Indiana and I69 and is a landmark in the area, having served the needs of our area residents for decades.
The beautiful property, graced with acres of green lawns that attract local wildlife, historic hill, and creek that runs on the east side of our property, family monuments—some dating back more than a century—adorn our acres. Our staff members are educators, not salespeople; during your family’s most difficult time, we prioritize explaining all the services we offer and letting you choose what’s best for you and your loved ones. You trust us with your family, so we at Saunders treat you like family, not a customer.
