GAR Ceremony Grave Dedication for David N. Minnick by the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.

On 3/21/1862 David was enlisted as a Pvt. 3/21/1862, David mustered into “E” Co. Indiana 36th Infantry. On 8/13/1864 David transferred into “H” Co. 30th Indiana Infantry. David was Honorably Discharged after his left knee was hit by shell shrapnel.
After his return to Delaware County, he became a member of the GAR in which he held the office position of Post Commander.
